Duties
* Prepare and present a variety of dishes in accordance with catering menus and client specifications.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout all stages of food preparation and service.
* Collaborate with the event planning team to understand client needs and preferences, providing suggestions to enhance the catering experience.
* Set up and dismantle catering equipment at event locations, ensuring all areas are left clean and tidy.
* Provide excellent guest services during events, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
* Assist in managing inventory levels of food supplies, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available for upcoming events.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues in the hospitality sector, including hotel staff and restaurant teams.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding guest services.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Experience in bartending is an advantage but not mandatory.
