Launch your engineering career with Rubberatkins—where curiosity meets innovation. Our Research and Development Engineers are at the heart of everything we do, driving innovation, sustaining product excellence, and shaping the future of our technical capabilities. This is your opportunity to join our accredited graduate scheme, working alongside some of the industry’s most experienced engineers. From day one, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge products that solve real-world challenges.

What You Will Be Doing

Collaborate with a talented team to take products from customer brief to concept, through testing and into manufacturing, while upholding our commitment to quality and reliability. You will explore new ideas and technologies, trial innovative solutions, and work cross-functionally to support our global reputation for excellence.

What We Are Looking For

We are not just looking for qualifications—we are looking for passion. If you’re eager to learn, thrive on solving problems, and want to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, we want to hear from you.

* A strong honours degree (2:1 or above) in Mechanical Engineering is required.
* A Master’s degree is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
* A genuine drive for continuous learning and development.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Why Choose Rubberatkins?

Our graduate programme is designed to help you build confidence, technical expertise, and a broad understanding of our business. Through our MPDS-accredited scheme, you will rotate across departments, gain hands-on experience, and receive mentoring from experienced engineers. You will also submit quarterly reports to the IMechE to track your progress toward professional registration.

Your Future With Us

Upon successful completion of the two-year graduate scheme, you will be well-positioned to progress within our engineering team.
