Are you an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of leading large-scale TUPE projects and working in heavily unionised environments? My client is looking for a commercially astute Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping HR policy, driving change, and partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, fast-moving organisation.
The Role
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
* Lead on the design, review, and implementation of people policies and processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Take a leading role in organisational change, including restructures and TUPE transfers.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with recognised trade unions.
* Provide expert advice to senior leaders on people matters, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.
* Act as a trusted partner to the Executive team, ensuring HR strategy aligns with business priorities.
* Drive process improvements, including digitalisation and automation initiatives, to enhance efficiency.
* Represent the HR function in industry forums and external networks.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level. You’ll bring:
* MCIPD (or equivalent) qualification.
* Extensive experience leading large-scale TUPE projects.
* Proven experience of working with trade unions in complex, unionised environments.
* A strong HR generalist background within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or transport sectors.
* Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at Executive and senior management level.
* Strong project management and change management skills, with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
