The Deputy Clinical Director for Children and Neonates will be accountable to the Clinical Director nad with them to the Divisional Director for the performance of the directorate. This is a key operational role within the Division and the post holder will work with the Clinical Director to lead and be accountable for ensuring services are patient focused and effective and for achieving national and local key performance indicators and standards.
The post holder will provide visible leadership to all staff within the directorate and support the Clinical Director in delivering the strategic plan for the Division.
The post holder will work with the Divisional Director and the Divisional Management Team to ensure the services within the Clinical Directorate meet the required objectives.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Clinical Director is responsible and accountable to the Clinical Director and the Division for managing the clinical, operational and financial performance of the services within the directorate.
The Deputy Clinical Director will support the Clinical Director in delivering excellent performance against key quality standards and targets and for taking corrective action when required.
