Job Description:
Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design background.
We are looking for a problem solver who loves challenges and works well as part of a diverse team to take creative concepts through to final products or displays.
We design semi-permanent displays and packaging concepts for well-loved global and high street brands. Check out some examples of our work:

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. The role involves balancing creativity and practicality to develop innovative, eye-catching displays that are cost-effective and adhere to brand and retailer guidelines. Collaboration with a diverse team of 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers is essential.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes, value engineering, and developing efficiencies.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Handling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex displays and event setups.
* Adapting in a fast-paced studio environment and managing multiple projects.
* Pushing creative boundaries and challenging conventions.
