We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of our client, a well-established school in Cambridge with a strong reputation for high-quality conference, wedding, and event catering .
This role offers variety beyond standard school service and is suited to a chef with experience in proper hospitality-led cooking, working with fresh ingredients and event-level menus.
The Role Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard for school dining, conferences, weddings, and special events
Work with event and wedding menus, including plated and function service
Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen compliance
Supervise and support kitchen assistants and porters when required
Ensure your section remains clean, organised, and service-ready
Support stock control, ordering, and deliveries
What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (or strong Demi CDP ready to step up)
Essential: Experience working with events, banqueting, and wedding menus
Background in fresh food, hospitality or restaurant-standard kitchens
Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) in date or willingness to obtain
Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate
Right to Work in the UK
Ability to work evenings and alternate weekends on a rota
