You will be the first point of contact with parents/carers, students, agencies, schools, and staff, ensuring the highest standard of first impression whether in person or over the telephone. You will play a vital role in supporting the Council, helping us provide better services to the people of East Sussex. The role is varied, but we will provide all necessary training and support.
The successful candidate will work in our Children's Services Department, providing high-level administrative support to the Assessment and Planning Team, which supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and their families in East Sussex. You will need excellent organisational skills, accurate minute-taking skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strong communication and MS Office skills. A desire to make a difference to families is essential.
