Position Overview: As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work with the controller to maximize equipment availability through routine and preventative maintenance, machine inspections, and minor repairs. You will promote safety by servicing products in a manner that ensures safety for yourself and the customer.

* Preventative Maintenance Servicing (routine servicing, oil samples) - 75%
* Machine Inspection (visual/mechanical analysis) - 20%
* Minor Repairs (minor repairs, telematic systems, undercarriage inspections) - 5%

This is a field-based role requiring a full driving license for at least 2 years. Working hours are 43 hours/week with flexible start/finish times, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday in three at overtime rate.
Specific Skills: Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electronics/electrics related to servicing and repair of heavy mobile plant.
Accountability: Attend customer sites, perform preventive maintenance, liaise with the service controller and customer, ensure work standards, complete paperwork, and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Education and Experience: Around 3 years of experience in related engineering roles, or related qualifications such as a formal apprenticeship with at least C&G level 1, with training in health & safety preferred.
