Job Description
Process import documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of import activities and related costs.Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customs clearance.Ensure all import operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies.Assist in preparing reports related to logistics and import activities.Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as required.The Successful Applicant
The successful Interim Import Clerk should have:
Previous experience in import operations within the logistics or FMCG industry.Strong knowledge of customs procedures and import documentation requirements.Proficiency in using logistics and shipping software tools.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Available immediately or on short notice to start a new roleWhat's on Offer
