About The Role
Position: Sous Chef at Hotel du Vin located in Winchester, Hampshire, a historic Georgian building built in 1715, close to Winchester Cathedral and city attractions.
Location
Hotel du Vin Winchester, a boutique hotel with 24 bedrooms, 64‑seater Bistro & Bar and a private event space seating up to 50. Opened 1994; part of the Hotel du Vin family.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef by ensuring the kitchen team delivers brand standards smoothly and consistently.
* Develop and manage the team, demonstrating skills at this senior level.
* Work in a fast‑paced, pressure‑intensive environment, often using produce you have not worked with before.
* Participate in on‑the‑job training and apprenticeship programmes to progress your career.
Qualifications
Experience as a Sous Chef with demonstrable leadership and team development skills.
