Milton Keynes College has an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Practitioner to join our Prison Education team at HMP Portland. As a successful Inclusion Practitioner, you will provide inspirational learning support to small groups of learners and on a 1:1 basis. This will require a holistic approach to highlight specific learning needs and improve learner skills. Your focus will be on supporting learners within a range of subjects, including English and Math leading to employability outcomes, with effective target setting to meet individual needs.
You will need to be passionate, creative and empathetic towards our learners and be able to offer knowledge and guidance. A knowledge of strategies to support a wide range of neurodiversity needs is essential.
As an Inclusion Practitioner, you will be working across the whole prison estate, on all wings and in classes where education is delivered. You will also be working in partnership with our Learning and Resource Center you will be required to deliver learning sessions and maintain the running of a busy library service.
