What skills and experience we’re looking for
Due to the promotion of the current post holder, a superb opportunity has arisen to join our great team. We are seeking an energetic and inspirational teacher to teach across the key stage 2/3 age range (years 5, 6 & 7) and to lead PE across the school from September 2026.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, have qualified teacher status and proven teaching experience at either KS2 or 3, together with high expectations for children’s attainment and progress, good ICT skills, and an ability to build effective working relationships.
We are seeking a PE colleague with the ability to offer at least one other subject. The ability or willingness to teach maths would be welcomed. Exact subject teaching can be negotiated, but our teachers enjoy teaching within their specialism and beyond. We are keen to hear from candidates with a passion for enrichment and the ability to coach and lead fixtures, co-ordinating a significant number of sports and activities across the school.
