Overview
Wincanton are looking for a Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Fulfilment Support Analyst. The role is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for warehouse management systems & fulfilment and related applications. The role holder will work with end users, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of WMS and related applications.
This is a hybrid role, ideally candidates will live in commutable distance to the Chippenham office. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, with the expectation of being on call during evenings and weekends, on a rota basis. A premium is paid for on call hours.
How will you contribute?
1. Provide first and second level support for WMS and related applications
2. Respond to user requests and issues
3. Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to WMS and related applications, such as configuration, connectivity, integration, performance, and security
4. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to third level support or vendors as needed
5. Document and update support procedures, knowledge base articles, and user guides
6. Monitor and maintain the health and availability of WMS and related applications
7. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, patches, and audits
8. Test and validate new features, enhancements, and fixes for WMS and related applications
9. Train and assist end users on how to use WMS and related applications effectively and efficiently.
10. To deploy new and/or changed Warehouse Application Services in-line with Request For Change and/or Project timescales as defined by IT working practices.
11. To actively participate in Service Improvement.
What will you bring?
12. Experience in providing technical support for WMS and related applications, preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
13. Strong knowledge of WMS and related applications, such as Manhattan, Oracle (desirable)
14. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to WMS and related applications, such as configuration, connectivity, integration, performance, and security
15. In depth understanding of warehouse processes
16. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
18. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
19. Attention to detail and quality
20. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
21. Good understanding of ITIL Service Management processes
