Join to apply for the Volunteer Weekly Newsletter Team Volunteer | Careers Springboard role at Careers Springboard
We seek a volunteer with at least three years of experience in email communications, ideally including creating a simple weekly e-newsletter. All items for inclusion will be provided, but they need to be checked and organized effectively.
What difference will you make?
We aim to enhance our communication with our members, who are all job seekers. Using modern marketing techniques, especially our newsletter, we want to increase our visibility, relevance, and impact, attracting more job seekers to our weekly virtual Zoom meetings. Unemployment can be isolating and damaging to confidence and self-esteem, affecting both financial and emotional well-being. Your efforts will help us support more people by raising awareness through the newsletter content provided. The success of your marketing efforts will be reflected in increased participation in our services.
What are we looking for?
A volunteer with at least three years of experience in email communication, including creating weekly newsletters. IT/email skills are essential, and design skills are a plus for enhancing layout and display. The volunteer should be able to work independently with guidance from trustees and volunteers. Work is from home, approximately 2-3 hours weekly, on a roster basis. Success will be measured by prompt, timely, and error-free newsletter production, with circulation every Friday and a reminder on Monday.
What will you be doing?
Based in South Buckinghamshire, we are a small, established charity providing job search advice and support. Since March 2020, our activities have moved online via Zoom, broadening our reach. We need a volunteer to join our newsletter team to compile and circulate our weekly newsletter. Training and guidance will be provided. The newsletter is a vital marketing tool, and the team is always looking for ways to improve it. All work is remote, working online under team guidance. The commitment is about 2-3 hours weekly. Applicants must reside in the UK and have at least three years of experience producing similar newsletters.
