The Job
* Provide high-quality teaching and create the best learning opportunities for students across the school.
* Contribute to the strategic development of the English department, lead training programs, and enhance secondary lessons.
* Deliver outstanding teaching that meets the diverse needs of all students.
* Support the school in raising standards of teaching and learning, and monitor progress towards department goals.
* Offer specialist subject expertise to assist departmental staff.
* Support and hold staff accountable through teaching and learning initiatives.
* Implement whole-school policies and initiatives effectively.
* Plan and facilitate professional development workshops as needed.
Candidate Requirements
* Hold a valid teaching qualification.
* Possess a degree or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice.
* Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills.
* Experience in conducting lesson observations and providing constructive feedback.
* Experience in improvement planning.
* Proven success in implementing strategies to raise student achievement.
* Contribute positively to the quality of learning, teaching, and curriculum development.
* Have a track record of excellent results at secondary level.
* Experience with high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
