As a Senior Social Care Assistant at Surrey, you will play a key role in assessing the social care needs of our service users. You will provide direct, positive interventions for individuals with complex needs and offer meaningful support to their carers. This includes completing strength-based, person-centred assessments and reviews that promote independence and well-being. You will also undertake safeguarding responsibilities.
Collaboration is central to this role, and you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for service users and their families.

To be considered, your application should clearly evidence:
1. The ability to empathise with and show compassion towards individuals needing social care assistance.
2. Experience working with residents with diverse physical and cognitive needs, including assessments, home visits, and support plans.
3. Knowledge of the Care Act legislation and its impact on your work.
4. The ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
