A unique vacancy has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Urgent Treatment Centre at Ilkeston Hospital. You will be required to undertake various patient clinical procedures in order to assist registered practitioners to deliver agreed pathways as part of the ongoing Urgent Care Agenda. The role of the HCA is pivotal to delivering excellence in Urgent Care and the successful candidate is expected to be supported in delivering hands on care to our patients under the supervision of registered practitioners, whilst undertaking an expanded scope of duties. To support and ensure the effective seamless flow of patients through the Urgent Treatment Centre. Responsibility for a specific area of work that is facilitated by the registered nurse. To assist Clinicians with the provision of a high standard of individualised patient care and treatments where appropriate and work as an effective multi-disciplinary team member of the UTC Team. To carry out individual patient care without direct supervision, under the direction of the clinician-in-charge. Understands and observes appropriate standards of confidentiality.
