Job Description
The Assistant Management Accountant's duties will include but will not be limited to:
* Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
* Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Support the Accounting & Finance team with budget preparation and monitoring.
* Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders promptly.
* Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* Demonstrated experience in a finance role, and experience with the general ledger and management accounts preparation
* An understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
