The Role: Research Physician
As a Research Physician, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of clinical trials. Acting as Principal Investigator, you’ll provide medical oversight, lead a multidisciplinary team, and make sure studies adhere to ICH-GCP and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and ensure compliance with protocols, SOPs/COPs, and regulatory standards
* Supervise staff training and maintain delegation logs
* Monitor participant wellbeing and report adverse events promptly
* Maintain accurate documentation and PI oversight throughout studies
* Engage in CRA meetings, audits, inspections, and on-call rotations
What We’re Looking For:
* GMC-registered physician with a UK license to practice
* Qualified GP or Registrar-level experience
* Right to work in the UK
* Drivers license & Car
* Experience in research - ideally phase II and III in Neuro (Alzheimers)
* Gen Med/Acute internal medicine background.
