Job Description
We are looking for someone who can confidently direct, coordinate, and evaluate site maintenance tasks while ensuring all work is completed in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong customer focus, effective problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable, world-class building services maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned and reactive engineering tasks in line with assigned schedules
2. Support the Facilities Manager with site maintenance coordination
3. Work effectively with subcontractors and vendors to deliver services
4. Use hand tools and test equipment safely and competently
5. Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical building systems
6. Read and interpret manuals, technical documents, and regulatory information
7. Manage and support performance against defined KPIs
8. Address maintenance-related issues, complaints, and service concerns professionally
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Experience in Electrical Engineering within a building services environment
10. Background in integrated facilities management within sectors such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Industry, or Healthcare
11. Vocational education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
12. Chartered, Registered, or Licensed Electrical Engineer
13. Experience working with subcontractors and external vendors
14. Previous experience at journeyman level for electrical and mechanical systems
15. Strong ability to interpret manuals, technical documents, and relevant regulations
