At NEXT we're looking for a dedicated Set Builder to join our dynamic team based at our BUZZ Studio in Leighton Buzzard. You will play a crucial role in bringing our creative visions to life. In this role, you'll be instrumental in executing a wide range of construction and finishing tasks, from intricate carpentry to detailed scenic painting. You'll work hand-in-hand with our creative and production teams, applying your expertise to ensure every design detail is flawlessly executed and every set piece is built to the highest specifications. You will: Execute a variety of construction tasks from carpentry to scenic painting. Operate workshop and hand machinery with high proficiency. Work from design specs to produce high-quality set pieces. Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet project visual requirements. Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines. About You: Versatile skill set in building and finishing techniques. Experience in scenic painting, carpentry, tiling, wallpapering, and plastering. Ability to follow complex instructions and detailed design plans. Adept at multitasking and adjusting to shifting priorities. Team player with excellent communication skills. Dedicated to quality and precision in all aspects of work.
