School Caretaker
Hours: Shift pattern between 7am–7pm
Location: Multiple school sites across Norwich
Contract: Full-time
Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence essential
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, proactive Mobile School Caretaker to support a group of schools in the Norwich area. You will travel between sites to provide caretaking, basic maintenance, site security, and general support to ensure each school remains safe, clean, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Unlocking/locking school premises
Basic repairs, maintenance, and compliance checks
Supporting cleaning and site presentation
Responding to urgent issues across multiple sites
Liaising with school staff and contractors
Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided or mileage paid)
Good practical/DIY skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work across multiple locations
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work shifts within 7am–7pm
