An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-regarded, prestigious organisation in the heart of Newcastle. We are currently seeking a passionate and outgoing Marketing assistant to work within this vibrant, energetic and people focused Marketing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join the business, grow and develop. The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of marketing tasks, including digital campaigns to content creation and actively contribute to creative discussions and planning sessions to enhance brand visibility.
Daily duties will include:
1. Proof Reading – Review and edit marketing materials.
2. Blog Writing – Create captive posts to engage with audience.
3. Social Media Management – Update multiple platforms to expand followers.
4. Influencer Account Management – Maintain and build strong relationships.
5. Paid Media Management – Assist with the creation of paid advertising on social media.
6. Content Creation – Create and schedule social media posts in a timely manner.
7. Email Marketing Management – Oversee email marketing campaigns, tracking results.
8. Community Engagement – Monitor engagement on social media platforms ensuring prompt responses.
9. Analytics and Reporting – Generate reports on social media, email statistics and KPIs.
10. Collaboration and Meetings – Attend and participate in regular meetings for social media and website content.
11. Market Research – Stay up to date regarding trends in social media and competitor activity.
12. Quality Assurance – Perform web test orders and report issue or improvement where necessary.
13. Website Updates – Contribute to update such as merchandising, content management and product launches.
The ideal candidate will have previous online and digital marketing experience. You will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be proficient in social media, have excellent attention to detail and can monitor, analyse and report on marketing results. Excellent spelling and grammar are essential!
