Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.
Responsibilities
* You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
* Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions.
* Stock ordering and management.
* Invoicing and financing deliveries.
* All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course.
* Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
* Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.
Experience and Skills
* Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to handle medications accurately.
Essential
* Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Hours and Pattern
* Total Hours Contracted: 20hrs
* Working Pattern: Thursday 9:30am-5:30pm, Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday
