About the Role
This is a broad and exciting role offering exposure to a wide range of commercial legal matters in the dynamic entertainment sector. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across various UK businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements relating to areas such as:
* Festival production, ticketing, and live events
* Artist partnerships and collaborations
* E-commerce, technology, and intellectual property
* Marketing, advertising, and media
* Property, software licensing, and IT services
* Advising on consumer law compliance and regulatory matters
* Developing and maintaining contract templates
* Monitoring relevant legislation and industry developments
* Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel
Skills and Experience:
* Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with excellent academic credentials
* 5 - 8 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm
* Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally with exposure to the entertainment, e-commerce, or technology sectors
* Solid understanding of contract law, commercial law, and intellectual property law
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise effectively
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
