Working Pattern
Monday‑Friday with one weekend in four as duty manager and occasional evening and bank holiday work on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
* Advocate for the inclusion of children and young people.
* Support teams to ensure any CYP work is safe, compliant and relevant.
* Co‑develop opportunities for young people to connect with nature, beauty and history.
* Build understanding of the needs and interests of 0‑25‑year‑olds to shape resonant experiences.
* Build and nurture strong partnerships to reach new and diverse youth audiences.
* Ensure young people’s voices help shape decisions.
* Deliver greater public benefit in places where children and young people live through collaboration.
* Support the operations of the business, including duty management.
Qualifications
* Experience in devising and running activities that inspire and engage people.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build good working relationships.
* Knowledge of how to interpret collections of art and objects for diverse audiences.
* Well‑organised, able to work at pace and keep to time.
* Confidence in dealing with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations.
* Commitment to high standards of customer service.
* Experience supervising volunteers.
This role will lead our work with and for Children and Young People at Dunham Massey and is placed within the Visitor Experience team.
