BestStart Faringdon East is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Qualified and Certificated Teacher to become part of our vibrant and supportive team.

About the Role:
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) working with our under 2s in two beautiful spaces:
Fern Room (3 months to walking, approx. 12–15 months):We focus on building strong, trusting relationships and a safe, home-like atmosphere. Our kaiako work in partnership with parents and whānau to ensure each baby feels secure, cared for, and supported in their development.
Nikau Room (walking to 2 years):We create warm, welcoming environments where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. We maintain open communication with families to foster a strong sense of trust and connection, ensuring your child is cared for every step of the way.
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor of Education/Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) with a current NZ Teacher Certification
* A strong understanding of child-led learning, planning, and curriculum development
* Solid knowledge of current ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance
* A clear commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through your teaching practice
* A passion for early learning and a drive to deliver high-quality education
