Content of role
* Experience in IDAC (Ivanti Device Application Control) and/or Microsoft Defender point – this is essential for the role.
* Useful to have in-depth knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & Windows 7), including build, configuration and registry settings, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* SCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, fault finding, monitoring and reporting desired.
* Automation – understanding of scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VB scripting, and batch files is beneficial.
* Security – knowledge of disk encryption using BitLocker, NTFS permissions and shared folder security is useful.
* An appreciation of the Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, MS Outlook, instant messaging tools (Skype for Business), along with general etiquette.
* Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) software (ServiceNow).
