Job title: Client Advisor - Public Sector
Salary: £42,000

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Our client is seeking a Client Advisor to join their established Public Sector Division. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The role involves supporting senior Client Directors and reporting to the PSE Team Manager to ensure clients receive a consistently high standard of service and their accounts are managed accurately and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare insurance documentation for new clients in line with their requirements.
* Obtain renewal terms, assess alternatives, and produce professional client presentations.
* Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy changes promptly and accurately.
* Maintain and update client information within internal systems.
* Liaise with insurers to confirm cover, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation.
* Review policy documents to ensure accuracy before issue.
* Support credit control processes and escalate account concerns where necessary.
* Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards across all activities.
DAY-TO-DAY
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver efficient and high-quality client servicing.
* Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, meeting deadlines and service standards.
* Communicate regularly with clients, insurers, and internal teams to resolve queries.
* Maintain consistency and accuracy across all documentation and client records.
* Handle client data responsibly and identify potential risks or issues as they arise.
EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience meeting performance targets within a regulated insurance environment.
* Strong background in client servicing and relationship management.
* Proficient in Acturis (essential).
* Experience handling commercial or corporate insurance across multiple product lines (desirable).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused approach.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
* Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
* Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
* Risk-aware, with sound judgement on when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
* Commitment to professional development, ideally holding or working towards a CII qualification (Cert CII or Dip CII).
