Role Description
This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Snow Sports Coach working with neurodiverse students at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. The coach will be responsible for delivering personalised snow sports lessons, adapting coaching techniques to align with each student's needs and abilities. Duties include planning and conducting engaging sessions, fostering a positive learning environment, supporting the development of physical and emotional skills, and ensuring student safety at all times. Additionally, the coach will collaborate with families and caregivers to align coaching goals with individual needs.
Qualifications
* BASI or other relevant ski/snowboard instructor qualification
* Expertise in coaching and sports training tailored to individual needs
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt coaching styles to support a wide range of abilities
* Previous experience in working with individuals with neurodiversity, including learning disabilities and autism, is highly beneficial
* First aid certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment
