The role
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will:
* Lead and develop a small team within the general ledger and reporting function.
* Take ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring strong controls and integrity.
* Act as a key contact for external auditors on all balance sheet matters.
* Deliver clear visibility of financial performance by developing and presenting KPIs.
* Prepare regular UK cash flow projections and align these with balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.
* Oversee financial control, governance, and monitoring of capital investment projects, including ROI analysis.
* Support decision-making on IT expenditure and investment through robust business case evaluation.
