Overview
We are a Merton Children’s Services provider recognised by Ofsted as outstanding. We operate a blended practice model that combines Signs of Safety, systemic practice, and relational social work.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of families and children with complex needs.
* Deliver statutory safeguarding services and support early help.
* Work with partner agencies and colleagues to safeguard children effectively.
* Apply the Effective Support for Families in Merton framework to act quickly in families’ lives.
* Lead and support best practice, particularly in an Experienced Social Worker role.
* Participate in reflective supervision and take advantage of enhanced training in systemic practice, Motivational Interviewing, Restorative, and trauma‑informed practice.
Qualifications
* Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
* Relevant experience in statutory safeguarding services.
* Experience delivering safeguarding services with a commitment to ongoing learning and development in children’s social care.
* Capability to manage complex caseloads and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Employment Details
Positions: Social Worker and Experienced Social Worker.
Employment is on a rota basis, with specified days in the office and provision of guidance for early help and statutory services.
This role does not offer international sponsorship.
