Purposeof the role/Jobsummary
TheHospitality Manager is responsible for delivering a customercentric experience whilst ensuring that guests needs are fullyintegrated and supported. Overseeing and effectively managing allareas of the hotel that is guest impacting to include; food andbeverage services housekeeping activities/events and reception. TheHospitality Manager will be actively involved in seeking guestfeedback whilst proactively seeking ways to enhance the service andas such will deal with first stage complaints in thehotel.
The role willtake responsibility for maintaining and monitoring compliance withthe relevant regulator and externalstakeholders.
KeyResponsibilities
Dailyduties
* Ensurethat effective working practices to deliver high standards ofservice are adopted within all areas of hospitality includingactivities/events housekeeping food and beverage services andreception
* Maintainhigh standards of cleanliness and aesthetics throughout thehotel
* Follow theStandard Operating Procedures to consistently deliver brandstandards throughout thehotel
* Ensure thatall work is planned prioritised and delegated effectively toaccommodate the resource and skill base of theteam
* Link theoperational day to day management of thehotel
* Lead byexample by demonstrating what good looks like to ensure that yourteam have clear expectations of theirrole
* Exceedcustomer expectations by closely monitoring service levels withinthe hotel that are delivered by yourteam
* Manageresident expectations by effectively communicating via forums andentering into daily conversations with residents regarding thehospitality service levels at thehotel
Qualityassurance
* Participatein all areas of the dining experience ensuring that a premiumcatering service isprovided
* Spotcheck sufficient bedrooms and communal areas on a daily basis tosatisfy that robust housekeeping standards have beenadopted
* Undertakeall relevant audits monitoring and governance in your associatedareas ofwork
* Reviewoutcomes of all audits to identify trends and themes providingtimely and relevantfeedback
* Manageresolution of complaints and issues with residents staff andexternal stakeholders in line withpolicy
* Report andinvestigate any accidents/incidents asapplicable

* Coordinateannual leavemanagement
* Own thecontinued competence / compliance for immediate direct reports andextendedteams
* Ensure thatyour team have sufficient forums to discuss their role and ways ofworking plan and execute regular supervisions and appraisals.Listen and act of teamsfeedback
BusinessPlanning
* Coordinatethe day to day delivery of hotel improvement projects as definedwithin the hotels improvementplan
* Manageassociated costs within the assignedbudgets
* Identifycommercial opportunities within your department and adopt efficientways of working as bestpractice
* Keep uptodate with trends in hotels and hospitality understanding theimpact oncustomers
