Job Description
Role- Electrical Design Engineer
Salary- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- North Yorkshire
My client work within engineering and automation and they are looking to take on an Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
* Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
* Have previous experience carrying out electrical design
* Have experience in a Controls and Automation environment
* Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical
* Excellent problem solving capabilities
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering team
* Producing detailed design specifications for control systems
* Producing test specifications as required
* Liaising directly with customers as part of the projects
