Job Details
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Place of work: On‑site at our Head Office in Ely, with hybrid options.
Role
You will lead and develop a high‑performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Team responsibilities:
* Manage day‑to‑day sales team activity and priorities
* Set and monitor team KPIs, ensuring accountability
* People‑management activities including onboarding, performance, capability and conduct
* Motivate, coach and develop team members to maximise performance
Individual responsibilities:
* Build and manage customer relationships to drive sales
* Achieve individual KPIs and deliver team revenue and margin targets
* Execute the sales strategy across the UK market
* Use market research tools to understand trends influencing strategy
* Track performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions
* Support key customer meetings and strategic accounts
* Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting and forecasting
* Present monthly board reports
* Represent the business at conferences and trade shows
Requirements
* Experienced sales professional with proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets
* Management and leadership of a high‑performing team, including performance and capability management, coaching, mentoring and KPI setting
* CRM system usage/management (preferably HubSpot)
* Tracking sales pipelines and accurate forecasting
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
* Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Adaptable, resilient and trustworthy
