Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Support Worker located in Colchester and Ipswich. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing assistance and support to young people, helping them develop independence and practical life skills. Day‑to‑day tasks include offering emotional support, teaching life skills, ensuring safeguarding practices, and facilitating personal development. The Support Worker will also maintain effective communication with young individuals and their families, ensuring their well‑being and confidence in achieving future goals.
Qualifications
* Experience as Support Workers and a strong foundation in Safeguarding practices
* Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
* Competence in providing technical support relevant to the role
* Empathy and a caring approach with a commitment to making a positive impact
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in social work, youth work, or related fields
* Experience working with young people or in a support role
