The home has a Good CQC rating and a dedicated team. We are seeking a Care Home Manager who brings confident leadership, genuine ownership, and a drive to raise standards further. In this role you will oversee daily operations, manage the budget, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure high‑quality care and support for residents.</p><h3>Key duties and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy.</li><li>Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.</li><li>Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.</li><li>Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families and stakeholders.</li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.</li></ul><h3>Skills and attributes</h3><ul><li>Previous experience managing a nursing or residential home.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families and visitors.</li><li>A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.</li><li>Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person‑centred care.</li><li>Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.</li></ul><h3>Education and qualification</h3><ul><li>Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post‑registration experience (desirable but not essential).</li></ul><h3>What will you gain?</h3><p>You will have the satisfaction of working with and being supported by an enthusiastic and caring team that puts people at the heart of the business.
