Kennel hand required to work between 16-30 hours which will be spread over 2-3 days including weekend work with the racing greyhound's.Your roles would include exercising of the greyhounds also to maintain cleanliness of their kennels which would be to clean the floors,beds,walls, etc. also fresh water to be provided everyday inside the kennels and out .Grooming of the greyhounds is an important part of this job as their appearance for racing needs to be at its best including cutting nails ,brushing teeth, cleaning ears, bathing, and using grooming tools, rubbing down oils and ointments to be used. The health of every greyhound needs to be monitored with attention and care. This a very physical job and requires a hard working person who is dedicated to looking after these animals and doesn't mind getting stuck in and getting their hands dirty.
