Responsibilities
* Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and spreading the joy of self-expression; implementing strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
* Memorable Shopping Experiences: Infuse every customer interaction with Claire's positivity and inclusivity. Shopping at Claire’s is about finding pieces that reflect their unique personality and celebrating who they are.
* Piercing Excellence: Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Become a trusted guide for customers — conducting piercings, educating on aftercare, maintaining a sterile environment, addressing questions and concerns throughout the process.
* Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities to reflect the brand’s fun and joy.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop your team. Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results and ensure team members achieve their full potential.
* Brand Representation: Showcase Claire’s products and services with enthusiasm, ensure the store is well-merchandised reflecting the latest trends, and maximize sales opportunities.
About You
* Sales-Driven Mindset: You thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and maximizing opportunities.
* Customer-Centric Approach: You’re passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
* Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
* Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
* Strong Communication & Selling Skills: You know how to engage customers, build relationships, and close sales.
* Ability to Work Independently: Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with limited supervision.
* Passion for Fashion and Trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
* Curated Fashion Demonstration: Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during your shift.
Job Requirements
* Ability to conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
* Proficiency with POS systems to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
* High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of retail management experience.
* Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts and lift 11-35kg (25-75lbs); ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools when placing merchandise and assisting customers.
* Passion for helping customers express themselves daily.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and management.
* Mathematical aptitude for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
* Ability to work alone at times and maintain a positive attitude; willingness to learn and lead a team.
