Finance Assistant Sheffield City Centre (office-based) Salary: £24,250 - £26,000 We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Assistant to support our busy finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in high-volume supplier invoice processing. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Key responsibilities: Accurately input and process supplier invoices, credit notes, expense claims, and payment runs into our accounting system. Maintain daily cash books and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage and reconcile various ledgers to ensure balance accuracy. Assist the finance team with a variety of ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed. Skills and experience: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). A positive and collaborative attitude. Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a finance or accounts clerical role, preferably with high-volume purchase ledger invoice processing.
