As Technical Manager, you will move beyond simple compliance. You will lead, motivate, and drive a technical strategy that ensures world-class product flow from farm gate to the retail shelf. This is a high-visibility role focused on continuous improvement and maintaining "Gold Standard" technical satisfaction with our key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Retailer Partnerships: Act as the primary technical point of contact for major retailers, managing audits and ensuring 100% compliance with specific customer codes of practice.
Strategy Execution: Own the technical roadmap, driving improvements in product quality, shelf-life, and waste reduction.
Supply Chain Integrity: Manage food safety and quality standards across the entire supply chain, from crop production to final delivery.
Continuous Improvement: Lead the site toward "Best in Class" status, identifying efficiencies through data-led decision-making.
What You’ll Bring:
Produce Pedigree: Minimum 3+ years in a Technical Management or Senior Technologist role specifically within Fresh Produce.
Retailer Savvy: Expert knowledge of major retailer technical portals and quality systems.
The "Data" Mindset: Highly numerical and comfortable using complex data to drive quality outcomes.
