With a team boasting over 40 years of combined experience, including international projects, they work closely with architects, planners, and engineers to deliver comprehensive, multidisciplinary solutions.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs an Acoustic Consultant, you will:\n\nConduct noise and vibration surveys across a variety of environments and sectors.\nDevelop and implement acoustic models to assess and predict noise impacts.\nPrepare high-quality technical reports and provide expert advice to clients.\nCollaborate with architects, planners, and engineers to integrate acoustic solutions into project designs.\nSupport planning applications by delivering robust noise and vibration assessments.\nContribute to the development of innovative solutions that balance acoustic performance with other project requirements.\nRepresent the company as a trusted advisor, including acting as an expert witness when required.\n\nQualifications\n\nWe're looking for someone who is:\n\nA member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) or working towards membership.\nExperienced in noise and vibration consultancy, with a proven track record in surveys, modelling, and reporting.\nProficient in using industry-standard acoustic modelling software.\nSkilled in interpreting and applying relevant standards, guidelines, and legislation.\nAn excellent communicator, capable of translating technical findings into clear, actionable advice.\nA team player with a collaborative mindset, but also able to work independently.\nPassionate about delivering client-focused solutions that make a real impact.\n\nDay-to-Day\n\nYour typical day might include:\n\nHeading out to conduct on-site noise and vibration surveys.\nDeveloping detailed acoustic models to assess project impacts.\nCollaborating with architects and engineers to integrate acoustic considerations into designs.\nWriting comprehensive technical reports to support planning applications.\nAttending client meetings to present findings and discuss solutions.\nStaying up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.\nContributing to a supportive, mission-driven team environment.\n\nBenefits\n\nOur client believes in taking care of their team as much as they care about the world around us.
