Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an exciting Team Leader opportunity based in Leeds, within our client's London Market Claims function.
In this role, you will lead a team of Claims Adjusters who work closely with the London-based claims team and adjusters aligned to specific lines of business. The Leeds team is responsible for handling higher-volume, lower-value claims across a diverse portfolio, including Professional Lines, Financial Lines, and Marine & Energy Liability.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of Claims Adjusters, providing regular support, coaching and 1-to-1s
* Work closely with the London Market Claims Managers and wider London-based claims team
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of high-volume, low-value London Market claims
* Monitor team performance, workload and claim progress, ensuring service levels are met
* Handle assigned claims from first notification through to settlement
* Ensure accurate updating of internal and London Market claims systems and communicate key developments
* Triage and prioritise claims in line with internal procedures
* Manage relationships and service quality of TPAs, lawyers and loss adjusters
* Build strong internal relationships with adjusters, underwriters and other stakeholders
