McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Culture & Engagement (Listening & Engagement - Cultural Health) role based in the United Kingdom. You will develop listening & engagement and cultural health initiatives that foster a positive working environment and an engaged workforce, in alignment with McDonald’s vision and values. This role will work closely with the Director, Culture & Engagement to ensure the seamless and efficient delivery of cultural health initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in listening, engagement, and cultural health programs, and a data-driven approach to executing programs effectively.
The candidate is expected to reside within the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Culture Strategy & Development:
1. Work with the Director, Org Culture & Listening to define scope and success metrics of culture initiatives and ensure programs are aligned to high-value talent objectives.
2. Support the development of strategies and programs that cultivate and enhance company culture across the enterprise, fostering a positive working environment and an engaged, productive workforce.
3. Develop roadmaps and design strategic initiatives in order to drive employee engagement.
4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, being the cultural health subject matter expert.
Engagement Analysis & Improvement:
5. Work closely with third party survey vendors to gauge employee sentiment and analyse current state employee engagement to identify issues and develop strategies to address gaps.
6. Assess current engagement level and utilize innovative thought leadership and market best practices to bridge the gap between the existing and desired organizational culture.
7. Engage and inspire both frontline and corporate employees to foster a thriving, employee-focused workplace environment.
8. Utilize metrics and feedback to gain strategic insights and provide recommendations leading to continuous improvement of McDonald’s global culture.
9. Stay up-to-date and informed on trends and innovations in organization effectiveness.
Qualifications:
10. Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Design, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; advanced degree preferred
11. Experience working in Human Resources or Organizational Design
12. Demonstrated expertise in Culture & Engagement Program Creation and Management
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
14. Knowledge of cultural health and engagement trends, regulations, and best practices
15. Extensive experience working and collaborating with global teams across various regions
16. Expert in driving cross-functional initiatives, ensuring organizational objectives are met seamlessly
17. Demonstrated ability to operate as a people manager, leading diverse, complex teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
