Retail Assistant

About the role
Everything we do starts with the people we serve. As a Retail Assistant you’ll be at the heart of Screwfix, delivering great service to our customers across a wide range of products – from power tools to workwear. Your day will be varied, combining in‑store customer interaction, stocking, picking orders, deliveries and other store duties.
Key responsibilities
* Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers, answering queries and guiding them to the right products.
* Perform stocking, shelf management and refreshing displays to keep the shop ready for sale.
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
* Assist with order pick‑up, delivery preparation and on‑site loading.
* Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
* Support your team and supervisor to meet store goals and objectives.
Working hours
* Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 8:00 pm
* Saturday: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
* Sunday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
