Responsibilities
* Provide respectful personal care and assist with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
* Engage with service users to build trusting therapeutic relationships and promote wellbeing.
* Promote active involvement, communication, and independence for people with learning disabilities and related needs.
* Support service users in their own homes or other settings, as part of a structured approach.
* Offer respite to carers and practical and emotional support to families where appropriate.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full manual driving licence to drive service users’ cars when required.
About the Setting
Napton House (Wharf Street) is a large, modern building with 15 flats, providing Supported Living opportunities for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and autism. The service focuses on person-centred active support that is stimulating, enjoyable, and motivational.
