Role Description
This is a full-time and remote role for a Supervising Social Worker. The Social Worker will engage directly with foster families and children to provide ongoing support, advocacy, and guidance. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, compliance with regulations, and developing individualized care plans. The role also involves regular communication with multidisciplinary teams, documentation, and participation in training and professional development opportunities to ensure the provision of exceptional care.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with foster families and children.
* Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
* Organizational and time-management skills, along with the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices, child development, and trauma-informed care principles.
* A valid Social Work qualification and registration with the relevant professional body, post 3 years experience.
* Adaptability to a remote working environment and the ability to work independently.
* Experience in fostering services or child welfare sectors is a plus.
* Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice.
