This role is perfect for a commercially focused finance leader who can quickly embed themselves at board level, guide the finance function, and deliver immediate value.
Responsibilities: As a Finance Director, you will…
* Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and commercial insight
* Drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
* Act as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all financial matters
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and investors
* Support the board with scenario planning, performance analysis, and strategic investment decisions
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management activities
* Provide leadership to the finance team, embedding best practices and developing capability
Requirements: As a Finance Director, you will need…
* A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience
* A track record of success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex or transitioning businesses
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience advising board-level stakeholders
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with financial modelling, strategic planning, and change management
* Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
