We are looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have practice experience and can use a variety of accounting software and ensure filing deadlines are met. The position is office based near Longfield for 21 hours per week, due to location travel by car is essential, parking is free. This role includes: Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero. Reconciliation of bank accounts together with control accounts. Preparing VAT returns & CIS returns Liaising with clients and dealing with any queries Admin duties and answering the telephone. Managing time efficiently. Requirements: Experience of bookkeeping software including Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero, however training can be given to expand knowledge. Strong knowledge of VAT & CIS Proficient in Microsoft Office Highly organised, works in a logical, methodical and accurate way. Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail. Excellent multi-tasking skills able to prioritise and manage deadlines and workload. Clear communicator across all mediums and easily builds rapport with clients and team.
