Radiographer – MRI
Location: Belfast
Pay Rate: £19.10 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join the Radiology Service in Belfast. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of effective and efficient MRI Imaging and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality MRI imaging services within the Radiology Department.
2. Maintain care, cleanliness, and proper use of imaging and accessory equipment in line with Radiology policies.
3. Report and record environmental defects, equipment faults, and incidents promptly to the line manager.
4. Take all reasonable precautions to minimise risks to patients, staff, and visitors within the MRI unit and Radiology Department.
5. Undertake training for intravenous injections of contrast agents as per Radiology protocols, if required.
6. Actively participate in the Radiology Quality Assurance (QA) programme.
7. Assist with workflow organisation throughout the department.
8. Provide cross-site support in other MRI departments when necessary.
Essential Criteria
9. BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or DCRR qualification.
10. Minimum 2 years post-qualification radiography experience in a hospital setting with modern imaging modalities.
11. HCPC Registration at time of appointment.
12. MRI Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert).
13. Certificate in IV Cannulation.
